Surabaya: The poverty rate in East Java has
increased in 2015 to reach 4.775 million people, while in 2014 reached 4.748
million people. The high poverty is not line with economic growth in East Java
which continues to rise 5.44 percent, higher above the national only 4.79
percent.

East Java are not in line with the provincial government," he explained.
According to him, the county or city
in East Java programs tend to realize the vision and mission according to which
it is currently ahead in the elections. While the central government, must
undertake the revision of Law 23/2004 which tend county or city does not follow
the policies made by the government thereon (Provincial Government).
"It is time for the central
government to make regulations governing the policies made by the county or
city government should be in line with the top of it. So, the government
program can be completed up to the lower levels," he said.
East Java Governor Soekarwo, said
the growing number of poverty in East Java because of global economic factors
that are unstable, as well as the impact of the transition of work from humans
to machines that do a lot of companies. As a result, making the number of
unemployed is growing.
According Soekarwo, it can’t be
denied again by the global economic conditions are uncertain as today will also
bring the number of poverty increased.
"It's not just happening in
East Java, but almost all regions and countries. The number of industries that
use the engine power of the human impact on the number of unemployed increased
every year," he said.
